A group of around 45 students, parents and teachers from Chisago Lakes Middle School toured Washington, D.C. in October. The group was kept busy visiting museums, monuments and other popular sights in the historic city. CLMS teachers Jessica Randall, Jim Sauerbry and Ed Wachutka led the trip. At left, the group surrounds an Albert Einstein memorial at the National Academy of Sciences; below, Braden Kirvida and Madeline Alliegro (front), and Alyssa Anderson and Kaleb Paehlke (back) were selected to represent the group and CLMS in the laying of a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery.
