Marjorie Ruth Laura (Krech) Marier, born June 15, 1932, passed away September 11, 2008 from a heart attack.

Marjorie & Husband Andrew raised 6 children on a small farm with a large garden, which kept her busy canning & freezing produce. In her "spare" time she knitted & crocheted, passing these skills to her daughters. Another of her favorite pastimes was spoiling the grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Marjorie will be lovingly & deeply missed by husband, Andrew; children Sherri (Tom) Haag; Tony (Anne) Marier; Geri (Bob) Hanson; Eugene (Debbra) Marier; Jackie Marier & Jeff Marier. Grandchildren Melissa Southworth (Brian Mortimore) & children Brittany, DJ, & Parker Southworth; Andrew (Ann) Haag; Sara (Pete) Poff & children Vincent, Dylan, Faith & Gabe; Sabrina (Steve) Dahl & children Samantha, Haley & Ashley; Joshua Marier (Jamie & Kaia); Derek Vikus; Brian Haag; & Laura Hanson. Also survived by brother Larry (Delores) Krech many nieces, nephews & friends.

Memorial service was held Sunday, September 14 at Grandstrand Funeral Home.

Marjorie's family wishes to thank Lakes Area EMS & Dr. Tony G & the many nurses and staff for their valiant efforts to save her.
