Well after a long, long wait, we are finally pleased to bring you our official 2009 Chisago Lakes Area Visitor and Community Guide. Normally our release date for the guide is the weekend of the home show. We ran into some printing issues this year and unfortunately this year's guides are considerably later than normal.

Now about the guide. We have really outdone ourselves this year. We have spent countless hours refining our guide to make it more visually pleasing, easier to read, and easier to utilize. We have added much more information and also organized Chamber members by category for your convenience.

We think that our guide will be a valuable asset for every home in the area. On top of quickly finding businesses that advertise in the area, you will have a handy reference about the area that can virtually help you with almost any local questions. So enjoy, we hope you like the guide, we sure do.

I was emailed a link this morning that I had to share with you. Without giving too much away, some people made a music video about Chisago City and posted it on You Tube. If you are looking for some family fun, you are in luck. If you had a good time at last week's bingo, there are two more opportunities for you to win playing family bingo.

The Taylors Falls Lions Club would like to invite everyone to Shafer Town Hall this Friday. They will be holding an Easter ham bingo with both ham and turkey given out to lucky winners. The bingo begins at 7 p.m. and goes until all prizes are given away.

On Saturday, the Green Lake Association would like to invite you and your family to the Chisago City Community Center for a night of fun and frivolity. Like the Taylors Falls Lion's Bingo, the Green Lake Association will also be giving out various meats as prizes for winning cards. Bingo runs from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. with refreshments available.

Renewal responses have been pouring in and I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of our readers. You will be receiving a blue card with you name address and account number printed on it. Simply fill out the back or send in your check along with the blue card and we will promptly get you updated in our system without missing a beat. If you happen to receive a blue card and you have already sent your payment in, don't fret, just disregard the blue card and enjoy your papers.
