Well, enough of the suspense. The gift that the voters of our district provided students, staff and the community by agreeing to pay for the new outdoor facilities on campus was overwhelming, and the new stadium, track and fields are literally breathtaking. I know that we all are experiencing the impacts of the current recession, and this is why we are even more grateful for your sacrifices. We would not have this outdoor campus without the generosity of the Chisago Lakes community.
You can tell the meaning this has brought to our students by the permanent smiles they wear during their practices. What a gift that we have been given and one that we will good stewards to maintain for many years to come.
I invite all to come out and watch the Wildcats compete this spring in our new outdoor facilities and witness for yourselves, those Wildcat smiles! Once again, THANK YOU!
This spring, we have opened the facilities early with physical education classes, softball, baseball and track teams. When spring sports athletes from other schools were practicing inside for the third straight week, we had been outside preparing for competition during that same time.
