A sincere thank you needs to go out from the Chisago Lakes cheerleaders to all those who have kindly supported us and our trip to the Capital One Bowl in Orlando, FL.
We especially want to recognize GoldStar and all of their hard work they've put into the rush orders and last minute details for a few projects we've sent their way. We would also like to thank Viking Cola in North Branch, Blue Bunny, the Keesee family, for all their help and contributions, the Porterhouse, we are so grateful for their time, effort, cooperation and support that they gave us towards our pancake breakfast; the event was a success and we value all they did to make the event go smoothly.
We'd also like to thank everyone who came out for a hot plate of pancakes, we really appreciate it.
Finally, a thank you to the local businesses that generously gave donations or products/gift certificates towards the cheerleader raffle ticket sales during a few of the winter sports events. We greatly appreciated everyone's assistance and efforts.
As a coach and community member, it's nice to feel the support and enthusiasm from such a tight-knit community, whether it's from a local business or a neighborhood friend.
I've seen several times when our youth are working towards a common goal and multiple organizations, businesses and community members have come together to be sure they achieve the goal to give them such great opportunities.
The trip was a fabulous success. The girls said all of the hard work and efforts completely paid off as they were standing and performing in front of such a large crowd.
If you would like to see the routine the girls worked on so hard, join us tonight, Thursday, Feb. 5 at the varsity boys basketball game against St. Francis. The girls will be performing during halftime. They would love to show you what they got!
