On Thursday, Jan. 8, the girls gymnastics team might not have taken the win over St. Francis but they had a different victory in mind....breaking the school record.

North Branch gymnasts have never broken a 130 and on Thursday night the girls scored a 133. With a lot of hard work and determination they pulled it off. "I feel honored to have been there to witness the record breaking, I would like to take some credit for it as their coach but I feel all the credit goes to the girls. They work hard everyday and have wonderful attitudes." commented Head Coach Melissa Redfield. Some of the top scores were achieved by Kassie Salo, Ariana Olson, Sophia Kneen, Holly Tacheny and Sam Jannings. The JV broke the school record by scoring a 122.6, top scores on JV were achieved by Chelsee Magistad, Jaime Salo, Molly Pignato, Bayley Ertl, Shannon Mahoney, and Darbi Berkman.
