St. Bridgets of Sweden Knights of Columbus announces the first annual Knight of Columbus Free Throw Championships.

All boys and girls ages 10-14 are invited to participate in the local level of competition for the 2009 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship. The local competition will be held on Saturday, Jan. 31 at 12:15 p.m. in the Chisago Lakes Middle School gym. (Registration at 12:15 pm with the competition beginning at 12:30 pm)

The Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship is sponsored yearly, with winners advancing through local, district, and state competitions. All boys and girls 10-14 years old are eligible to participate and will compete in separate age divisions at NO COST.

Participants are required to bring proof of age (a copy of a birth certificate will do) and written parental consent. Registrations will be taken at the door the day of the event.
