Triple A Award winners from Chisago Lakes and NB recognized

At halftime of the boys basketball game last week, the Triple A winners from Chisago Lakes were recognized. The Triple A award represents students who excel in Athletics, Academics and Arts. Every year, each school selects a boy and a girl, and then they go on to represent the section. The Wildcats that represent Chisago Lakes this year are basketball player/band/honor student Josh Figini as well as Cassandra Buelow, an honor student who excels in cheerleading, dance, and track and field.

The North Branch winners were Tom Mork and Catie Bettendorf. Mork is a wrestler who also grinds away in the classroom, and Bettendorf is a tennis player as well as a track and field participant.

All four students are top notch in the classroom, and perform in a chosen art.
