A group of 14 staff members at Taylors Falls Elementary braved the elements last Thurs., March 19 to sleep in tents on the school grounds. They spent the night outside after students, families and staff members reached the goal for "The Arctic Challenge" during the school's Pennies for Patients fundraiser. Staff names were written at different dollar amounts on a temperature gauge in the lobby, and each staff member earned a night outside when the total collected reached their name. Through this event and other fundraisers, Taylors Falls Elementary raised over $1,200 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society this year.
