Phyllis J. Ede, beloved wife, age 63, of Forest Lake and longtime 4th Grade Teacher at Chisago Lakes Schools retiring in 2001, passed away May 9, 2009 following a courageous battle with cancer.

Preceded in death by parents Robert and Lillian Stark; step-mother Linda Stark; sister Janet Halvorson; sister-in-law Charleen Stark. Survived by husband Robert; brother LeRoy Stark; brothers-in-law John Halvorson and John (Sally) Ede; sister-in-law Betty (Rodney) Hestekin; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Gathering of family and friends Thursday, May 14, 4-8 p.m. at Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Drive SW, Forest Lake. Funeral Service 11 a.m. Friday, May 15 at Faith Lutheran Church, 886 N. Shore Dr., Forest Lake 55025 with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. until time of service.

Interment Scandinavian Cemetery.
