Fairy Tales teach character at Lakeside

Third graders in Ms. Hitchcock's class at Lakeside School in Chisago City recently entertained parents and guests with their own versions of classic fairy tales in a special musical performance. The students told traditional children's stories like Goldilocks and the Three Bears (above), but then added the message of doing the right thing and showing character in all situations. "Should the wolf really eat Goldilocks' grandmother?" was the question asked in this tale. Below, three magic mirrors from the tale of Snow White help tell a message about showing good character. Students in the class painted all of the scenery and props, and then were allowed to take their part of the creation home after the play.
