Recently, 12 youth from the Chisago Lakes High School SADD Chapter along with one of their advisors and the preventionist from Community Partnership attached stickers to 6- packs and cases of beer and wine coolers at Chisago Warehouse Liquors. Lindstrom Liquors was also asked to allow students to affix stickers in their establishment, but they declined.

Community Partnership and the SADD chapter partnered to produce an eye-catching green and gold sticker which reminded purchasers that - "IT'S NOT YOUR CALL! IT'S AGAINST THE LAW - For any person to provide alcoholic beverages to a person under 21 years of age."

Chisago Warehouse Liquors was very welcoming, and encouraged the teens to spend as much time as they needed to affix stickers; the teens placed well over 500 stickers on various products.

A small group of youth then went to Taylors Falls and put stickers on products sold there. This activity was one of many taking place throughout the school district to encourage students to have a safe and sober prom. Community Partnership appreciates the opportunity to partner with various segments of the community, including schools, as we continue to work to build and maintain a Drug Free Chisago County.
