Bud was born the son of Arthur and Alma (Anderson) Shogren on August 27, 1923, in Sunrise, MN. He was united in marriage to Joyce Nelson in 1948.
Bud worked as an electrician in the lakes area for many years. He loved to play the accordion, he began playing at age 4 and continued playing with his bands the Red Jacket and Buds Trio until he was 60 years old. Bud was a former Mayor of Center City and served on the city council and fire department. His family will remember him for his generosity even if it meant he would go without. He lived for his family.
Bud is survived by his loving family: wife of 61 years Joyce; daughters Nancy Burch of Dresser WI and Connie (John) Campbell of Center City MN; grandchildren Jeffrey Burch, Karla Fiorella and John Campbell Jr.; great-grandchildren Tanner Burch, Emily, Naomi, Eva, Amy Fiorella, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Bud was preceded in death by his mother and father Alma and Arthur Shogren, brother Evan Shogren and grandson Robert Alan Campbell.
Private Family Interment service at Hillside Cemetery in Center City.
