The eighth grade Chisago Lakes traveling girls basketball team won three consecutive games at the Forest Lake Freeze tournament two weeks ago. They achieved first place, each player received a "champion" t-shirt as their trophy. Good sportsmanship patches were also awarded to Brianna Fernstrom, Kennedy Hoyt, and Megan Chandler. The team is coached by Steff Wawrzaszek, and assisted by Brian Ristow, Dave Goosen, and Michele Forslund.
