Lloyd was born February 29, 1932 to Charles and Mabel Potvin at home in Johnstown, WI.
Preceded in death by his parents Charles and Mabel, twin sister who died at birth and infant brother Donald.
Survived by his children Carrie Dominque of Cambridge, MN, David Rodriquez of Mpls, MN, Phyllis (Red) Varela of Woodburn, OR, Lois Potvin of Spokane, WA, and Cindy (Mark) Crabtree of Harris, MN. Siblings Betty Smith, Doug (Deloris) Potvin, Gail (Dennis) Anderson and Norman Potvin, also 25 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren, and his beloved companion, Snow.
Lloyd loved to work, and worked most of his life as a metalurgist in MN and California as a laborer, and was self employed in the irrigation business. Lloyd "retired" to Florida 15 years ago where he continued to work owning and operating produce stands and then managing and maintaining the mobile home park where he lived.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and to travel with his best friend and brother Norm.
Lloyd served in the Army and was honorably discharged June 1954, and had been an active member of the American Legion for 31 years.
He is greatly loved and will be missed by family, friends and "Snow."
A service to celebrate Lloyd's life will be March 20, 11 a.m. at the Fish Lake Townhall, 2170 Brunswick Rd., Harris, MN. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Turtle Lake, WI.
