Jason Allen McCann, age 35, of Mankato died, Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital, Mankato.

Memorial Service was Tuesday, May 25, at Hosanna Lutheran Church, Mankato.

Jason was born February 18, 1975 in Hastings, MN. He graduated from Chisago Lakes High School in 1996 and moved to Mankato in 2001. He has worked for MRCI for over 9 years. He currently lived at Sexton South-Living Links in North Mankato. Jason attended Hosanna Lutheran Church and he enjoyed bowling, going out to eat, dancing, camping, movies, and playing games.

Jason is survived by his mother, Charlene (Vanderbeck) McCann of Mankato; brother, Johnathan (Nikki) McCann of St. Peter; nieces and nephews, Alexis, McKenzie, Hunter, and Payton; grandmother, Lorraine Stafford of Minneapolis; uncle, David (Susan) Bennett of East Bethel; cousins, Austin and Rebecca Bennett. Jason was preceded in death by his step-father, Richard Vanderbeck; great-grandparents, Everett (Rose) Woods.
