Brian G. Heyers, age 52, of Chisago City died Saturday, August 20, 2011 at his residence.

Brian was born February 11, 1959 in Kalispell, Montana to Doug and Dona (Anderson) Heyers. The family moved to the Chisago Lake area where Brian attended school and graduated. Brian worked as a cook at several different restaurants in the area. He enjoyed cooking, riding his motorcycle, fishing, hunting, tractor pulls, peanut M&M's, candy, the Iron Dog Run and being a Green Bay Packers fan. Most of all he enjoyed watching eagles.

He is survived by his daughters, Tonya Heyers of Lindstrom and Rachel Heyers of Chisago City; mother Dona, Heyers of Centuria, WI; brothers and sisters in law, Bob (Debbie) of Inver Grove Heights, Charlie (Tana) of Shafer, Kevin of Isanti, Michelle (Jim) Roach of Carson City, NV, Jody (Ben) Dvork of Grand Forks, ND; granddaughters, Nevaeh and Maryssa. He was preceded in death by his father Doug, his twin brother Bruce and sister Sheila.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2011 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom with Rev. Dan Doughty officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home, on Friday. Interment will take place at South Green Lake Cemetery.
