Ardella G. Peterson, age 96 of Lindstrom, passed away December 19, 2011. She was born in Palmdale, Minnesota on December 19, 1915 to Otto and Gerda (Melander) Youngren. Ardella graduated from Taylors Falls High School and St. Cloud Teacher's College. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lindstrom, for over 70 years. She was employed at various businesses around the area, enjoyed gardening, and also volunteered at Chisago Lakes HomeCaring & Hospice.

Ardella is preceded in death by her husband Donald and six siblings. She is survived by daughters Julaine (Daniel) Hodson and Rocille (Roger) Schmidt; grandchildren Lorri Hodson-Pecoraro, Brian (Stacy) Hodson, Robert (Kim) Hodson, and Aaron Schmidt; great grandchildren Thomas Pecoraro, Brandon Hodson, and Rachel Hodson; sister Marjorie Beyl; step grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lindstrom with visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Interment at Fairview Cemetery in Lindstrom.
