The next class in our Spring Series will be held on Tuesday, March 29th. Tom Dickhudt, Chisago County Master Gardener, has been one of the state's guru's on native plants for many years. His hobby has grown into a full time business. Since he must start plants in February through late fall, he has gone from a couple of grow lights to backyard greenhouses. Information will be provided from experiences learned from using several different types of greenhouses in our area.
Tom Dickhudt will be back on Tuesday, April 5 to explore the interesting lore and history of plants that are native or have naturalized to our area. This is the first time Tom has given this presentation.
All classes are from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Senior Center Dining room in North Branch. The cost is $5 per person per session and early registration is encouraged. There are flyers that have been placed in businesses in the area, but if you haven't seen one and wish to come please call our office at 651-277-0151.
