The contractor on the highway rebuild project in Lindstrom expects to initiate a switch in traffic flow starting this Monday, Aug. 6 (weather permitting.) The main travel lanes eastbound and westbound will be moved the newly rebuilt First Avenue and the old highway route through town will have the work crews on it. Detours are going to affect many routes...Newell will become the way to access businesses south of mainstreet. Olinda is being closed for intersection improvements and the detour route is Broadway.
