NB-CL first robotics team at the State Fair

Team 3038, representing North Branch and Chisago Lakes Area High Schools, dropped off their robot at the State Fair August 14. The robot will be judged in the mechanical division and be on display in the Education Building throughout the fair. August 27, the robot will be competing at 10 a.m, noon, and 3 p.m. Each robot in the competition will be competing individually using the the skills that were components of the FIRST competition. These include shooting baskets, balancing on a bridge, and crossing a center divide. One additional skill has been added and that is precision parking in a corner. Each day of the fair, three robots will be competing. The top three robots are invited back on Labor Day for the State Fair Championship. Team 3038 invites you stop by the Education Building any day of the fair and watch the competition and view the robots. Look for "3038" on the bumpers to identify the North Branch-Chisago Lakes robot.
