Thursday afternoon, Dec 13, volunteers congregated at the Chisago City Community Center/Fire Hall to help search for Danielle Jelinek, missing since late Saturday. A bus from North Branch Schools and a Lindstrom Fire Dept. rig took the volunteers to search areas, south of Chisago City starting at about 1 p.m. Sheriff Rick Duncan, the county’s Emergency Management Director Scott Sellman, Deputy Sheriff Chad Worden and other officials, left, talked near the school bus as it prepared to transport searchers. Jelinek was known to have been at an address, south of Chisago City, just prior to her family contacting local authorities to check on her welfare. Sheriff Duncan said a person of interest is being held at a facility in another county.
