The Chisago County Chapter of Thrivent Financial donated more than 150 pounds of food and household goods to Chisago County food shelf locations in Rush City, North Branch, and Lindstrom as a result of a document shredding event recently sponsored by the Chapter. Food donations were made to the Chapter by participants who brought their confidential documents for shredding. Receiving the food donation in Lindstrom was Family Pathways volunteer Jim Koenig (center) from Chapter board member Becky Fredell (right) and Craig Stockel (left), a local Thrivent Financial for Lutherans financial associate. The local Chapter is one of nearly 1,400 chapters nationwide that serve more than 2.5 million Thrivent Financial members.
