Patricia Alice Erickson

Patricia Alice Erickson was born on July 7, 1972 to Mary and David (Leif) Erickson. She lived her whole life in the Chisago Lakes Area. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in June 2010 and she fought this terrible disease ferociously and with extreme courage. She lost her battle on March 27, 2012.

Preceded in death by grandparents Ruth Erickson Cain, Harold Erickson, Lois and Alice Peach. Patti leaves behind sons Nathaniel and Noah; granddaughter Harmony; father David "Leif" Erickson; mother Mary Erickson; sisters Lynette (Mike) and Christine (John) nieces Cassie (Jake), Lindsay, Madeline, Marissa and great-niece McKenzie; nephews Jacob and Max; many aunts, uncles, cousin's and friends, especially Sandy DuPont.

Patti had a zest for life and enjoyed being with people. She was quick with a come back and wasn't shy about offering her opinion. She loved playing bingo and an occasional trip to the casino. She enjoyed time spent with her family, Nathaniel, Noah and Harmony were her biggest joys in life. She loved the people she worked with at CU Recovery and so wanted to go back. She fought hard to the end and didn't want to give up. There will be a huge void with Patti gone. She will be missed and forever loved.

Thank you to all the staff at Fairview Lakes and especially those who touched Patti in the Oncology and Infusion departments. Visitation 5-8 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom and one hour prior to service at church. Memorial service 3 p.m. Sunday April 1, at Trinity Lutheran Church, in Lindstrom. Interment at Hillside Cemetery in Center City, at a later date. Memorials are preferred.
