Taylors Falls students recognized as Young Authors

Recently, students at Taylors Falls Elementary wrote and illustrated stories as part of the Young Authors program. The program culminated with an assembly on Friday, April 27 to recognize the accomplishments of the top writers and illustrators in each class. The Newbery Award was given to the student with the best-written story and the Caldecott Award was given to the student for the story with the best illustration. Award winners and honor books are being displayed in the Taylors Falls Elementary Media Center.
