Diana Renee Prill, Diana Renee Leslie, (nee Brindle), age 71 of Chisago City, on May 25, 2012. Diana was born at Fort Snelling but no “army brat” was she. Though she adored her dad and the army, Diana followed in the footsteps of her mother, owner of a dance studio. Diana had extensive training in classical dance including instruction from the likes of the legendary Nijinsky’s daughter and members of Russian ballet Troups. She had stellar instruction in other forms of the dance, also, for example, she knew from personal experience that “Gene Kelly’s brother was a much better dancer than Gene.” Diana met Bob in college and they married only a few weeks after. Far more important to her than any of her achievements in the fine arts. Diana treasured her role as a wife, mother and grandmother. She was known for her delicate beauty and compassion for others but above all, the driving force in her life was her love of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Preceded in death by parents Norman and Estyre Brindle; brother Wallace Brindle. Survived by husband Robert; children Nick Prill, Alana Prill, and Dustin Prill; 10 grandchildren Dakota, Noah, Nicky, Angela (Amber), Thor, Lida, Sweden, Eric, Johnny and Luke; sister Barbara (John) Ryan; ex daughter-in-law Margaret; and many other relatives and friends. Memorial Service 1 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Parmly LifePointes Chapel, 28201 Old Towne Road, Chisago City. Visitation one hour prior to service at Parmly. Private family interment.
