Arthur L Swanson

Arthur ‘Art’ L. Swanson of Taylors Falls died Sunday, October 21 at his home at the age of 68. Art was born May 19, 1944 in Taylor Falls to Sidney and Marie Swanson. He graduated from Taylors Falls High School in 1962. He attended St. Cloud State for a time. Art was employed as an electrician with Andre Electric until his retirement. On November 16, 1977 he married Judy T’Kach at Center City. In his free time he enjoyed boating on the river, motorcycles, old cars, Corvettes, and even built a hot rod from the ground up. Art was preceded in death by his parent Sidney and Marie. He is survived by wife Judy; children Michelle (Rolf) Selness, Craig Swanson; step-children Michael, Mary, Barbara, Stephen, Patricia, Ruth, Philip, Bruce, sisters Eleanor (Larry) Collins, Helen Swanson; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, nephews, nieces, other family and friends. Family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 24 at the Grandstrand Funeral Home in Osceola, WI. Also one hour prior to the service at church. Memorial service at 2 p.m. Thursday Oct. 25 at First Lutheran Church in Taylors Falls. Interment Kahbakong Cemetery www.grand strandfh.com.
