Allan R. Thompson

Allan R. Thompson, age 80 of Chisago City, Minnesota, died October 27, 2012. He was born on November 21, 1931 in Lorette, Manitoba to parents Dave and Lea Thompson. He is preceded in death by parents, wife Gertrude, five brothers, one grandson, and eight great grandchildren. Allan is survived by wife Sheryl; children Linda (David) Kaul, Richard (Mary) Thompson, Gail (David) Walter, Jamie (Shawn) Morrison, Angela (Kyle) Quitter, and Beth (Erik) Mohr; 17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren, and three sisters. Visitation 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom, Minnesota and one hour prior to mass at church. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church in Lindstrom, Minnesota. Interment Chisago Memorial Park in Chisago City, Minnesota.
