Barbara Ferguson

Barbara Ferguson, age 89 of North Branch died peacefully on November 28, 2013. Barbara was born on Febuary 9, 1924 in Minneapolis, MN to Dr. Armyle and Alice Jacobson. She went on to graduate from Thief River Falls High School in 1941 and St. Olaf College in 1945. Barbara then married Robert Schuehle and together they had four children. Aside from spending her time as a teacher and mother, Barbara was also involved in the church for her whole life. Hobbies included golfing, traveling, gardening, playing bridge, and knitting. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Armyle and Alice Jacobson; husbands, Robert Schuehle, Arthur Pykles, James Ferguson; daughter, Kathy Schuehle; sisters, Peggy Graham, Betty Johnson. She is survived by sons, R. Chris Schuehle of St. Paul, Jim (Yvonne) Schuehle of Washington, Steve (Sara) Schuehle of Michigan; daughter, Cathy (Steve) Buetow of North Branch; sister, Ruthie Johnson; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and one on the way; nieces; nephews; cousins; and countless friends.

Memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2013 at Parmly LifePointes Chapel in Chisago City with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
