Harold Johnson, age 98 of Chisago City, Minnesota. Harold was born in rural Scandia, MN on April 26, 1915, he died Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 2013 peacefully in his sleep. Harold is preceded in death by his wife Laurel “Lolly”. He is survived by sons Donley Johnson of Forest Lake, Rev. Craig Johnson of Bloomington and Brian Johnson of St. Paul; and daughers-in-law Kathy, Cindy and Romelle; grandchildren Christopher (Lara) and Erin (Jon) Turner of Forest Lake, MN, Nicholas, Laura, and Kyle Johnson of Minneapolis, MN; great grandchildren Jackson and Lucille Turner and Madeline, Kayla, and Mitchell Johnson of Forest Lake, MN. Harold graduated from Lindstrom High School. He entered military service in the Army September 5, 1941 serving in the European Theatre and discharged December 11, 1945. Harold was the founder and owner of Electric Service & Equipment Company in Chisago City, MN.
Memorial Service 11: a.m. Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Zion Lutheran Church in Chisago City. Interment at Chisago Memorial Park in Chisago City. Arrangements by the Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom. Condolences may be left online at www.grandstrandfh.com
