The County Attorney reports Brandon Young, 21, of Bloomer, WI faces first degree aggravated robbery charges and Kenneth Griffin, 20, Chippewa Falls, WI is also charged with one count of aggravated robbery. Griffin has an active warrant for his arrest.

The men allegedly robbed a man who had been at Running Aces in Forest Lake just prior to his being assaulted and robbed on Thrush Avenue, outside of Taylors Falls. The victim notified authorities about 3 a.m. that a car being driven by an acquaintance pulled off Hwy. 8 while transporting him back home to Wisconsin, and while the car was stopped Young and Griffin allegedly drove up alongside and robbed the victim of approximately $3,000 in his recent winnings.
