Byron Garth Olson

March 15, 1943-February 10, 2013, lifetime resident of Forest Lake and Chisago City.

Byron is survived by his wife, Kim, married 41 years, his three children, their spouses and nine grandchildren, all of whom he loved very much; Craig and Erin Olson, Devin; Laura and Brian Kindelberger, Jenna and Austin; Karen and Mike Gaustad, Hunter and Morgan Johnson, Marilyn, Grace, Gabe and Claire Gaustad. He is also survived by his brother, Robert (Kay) Olson and sister, Jodie (Don) McClure, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Byron retired four years ago after 35 years as road superintendent for Wyoming Township. He loved the water and considered himself a "river rat". He will be missed. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 16 with visitation one and half hours prior to the service at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 5879 Wyoming Trail, Wyoming, MN.
