Snowmobiler said his throttle stuck, and forced him to lose control and he crashed his snowmobile into a tree Saturday, Feb 23 about 5 p.m. The 44-year-old man, a Mounds View resident, was airlifted to North Memorial. The crash scene was near Basswood Road and 505th in Nessel Township.

Center City firefighters went out to a fire call using their all terrain response vehicle, Saturday, Feb 23 about 5:45 p.m. The call was about a fish house on North Center Lake, that a caller to 9-1-1 reported, had just “blown up.” It burned rapidly and was a total loss.

Stepp Manufacturing in Sunrise, reported a theft of about 55 gallons off-road diesel product Feb 21. Peterson Towing just north of Lindstrom had a break-in and cash was stolen from the office.

A vacant homesite in Amador Township was broken into Feb 21 and copper materials and tools are reported missing.

Three Vexlar fish detectors and fishing cameras were stolen in a forced entry theft at a site on 310th in Shafer Township Feb. 18
