North Branch struggles against co-op from Mora

Mora/Hinckley-Finlayson 8, North Branch 2 The Vikings dropped to 2-7 overall on the season with an 8-2 loss to Mora/Hinckley-Finlayson last Thursday, December 20 at Mora. Mora outshot the Vikings 36-17 for the game. In the second period, Connor Martineau scored a power play goal for the Vikings, assisted by Tyler Cashill and Alex Miller. Ryan Zentner scored the other Viking goal, in the third period, with Miller again picking up an assist. The Vikings traveled out of town last week to take part in a holiday tournament in Wadena.
