Richard G. Gervais

Richard G. Gervais, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather went to be with the Lord on January 20, 2013 at the age of 83 with family by his side. He was born on September 26, 1929 in St Paul, Minnesota to Esther and Alphonse Gervais. His current place of residence was Ecumen Nursing Home in North Branch, Minnesota. He is preceded in death by baby daughter Denise; sister, father Alphonse James and mother Esther Mary. Survived by his wife of 63 ¾ years Shirley; six children, 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren. Dick worked in the Lumber Industry Teamster #120 for 46 years. Dick loved to fish, hunt and watch Sprint cars. He loved watching the deer, birds and squirrels in his own backyard. Funeral Service at North Branch Ecumen Nursing home on Friday, January 25 for immediate family only. Burial services will be in the spring.
