Authorities working near I-35 assisted in attempting to locate a vehicle used in a June 13 armed hold-up of a store, Daisy Maze, in Forest Lake. No success in locating the suspect car.
June 15 a warehouse in Rush City was reportedly broken into by prying a door. No missing items were noted.
A rollover crash sent one person, the driver, to the hospital June 16. The accident scene on Old Hwy. 61 in Rushseba Township was discovered/reported about 6:45 a.m. Rush City Fire Dept. sent a team to extricate the woman who told deputies she’d fallen asleep.
A car parked at the East Rush Lake access was broken into June 16, damage was done to ignition unit in an attempt to steal the car, and a GPS was stolen.

Pedestrian hit is from Wyoming
A 24-year-old Wyoming man was hurt while walking near a broken down vehicle on the right shoulder of I-35 in Pine County. The impact was near where Fire Monument Road merges into the southbound lane of the freeway. The accident was reported about 10:50 p.m. Monday night, June 17.
There was no description available for the vehicle that struck Trevor Langlois, and state patrol only was advised that it continued southbound on the freeway after impact. The driver of the 1979 GMC C3500 truck on the side of the road was identified as Chaz Paulson of White Bear Lake. No details were released on whether Langlois was riding with Paulson or if had just been walking to his aid when he was hit.
Camp with the Cops in August: for Wyoming residents
There will be a unique camping opportunity for people who are interested in getting to know more about Wyoming law enforcement and what they do and who they are. The department hosts “Camp with the Cops” Saturday night into Sunday morning, at Goodview Park, August 3 to 4. The event is $5 and residents in the Wyoming police service area are invited.
You get a T shirt, a glow stick, a hamburger or hot dog dinner and there’s going to be an outdoor family movie shown, complete with popcorn and beverage. The campers should plan to arrive anytime after 3 p.m. Saturday and be out of the park by 10 a.m. Sunday. There’s a flyer about the event online at wyoming mn.org.
