Kenneth A. Anderson of Chisago City, Minnesota, age 95, passed away peacefully during the night with his wife by his side March 1, 2013.
Born Oct. 14, 1917 to William Allan and Mabel Anderson in St. Paul. He is survived by wife of 72 years Inda Mae “Babe” Anderson; three daughters Linnae (Ellis) Frans, Sharlene (Donn) Arnold and Dawne (Larry) Johnson; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Ken loved his family and his life on the farm for 70 years. ‘Kenny’ was also known for his beautiful tenor voice, and sang at many weddings, funerals and functions. He was also a member of a barbershop quartet. Family getaways were important to him, and several camping trips to northern Minnesota and Canada took place over the years. He also enjoyed the St. Croix River and weekends spent on their cruiser, out of Stillwater, with friends and family. His gentle spirit, dry sense of humor and funny little cartoon drawings will long be remembered by those that love him.
A Celebration of Life service is March 15, 11 a.m. with one hour visitation prior to the service, at First United Methodist Church, 30828 Irene Ave., Lindstrom, MN.
