$1,300 in food shelf donations in three minutes

Ten young men from the North Branch Area High School football program participated in County Market's Food Shelf Challenge on Monday.

The football program had two teams that stocked about $1,300 worth of food for the food shelf in 3 minutes. The two gathering teams were Tony Denn and Brandon Thauwald; and Scott Yaeger and Seamus Hunter. The rest of the high school participants bagged and helped stock all of the groceries from all 12 teams that competed in the event.
