Steven A. Gentz

Steven A. Gentz, age 61 of Chisago City, passed away March 13, 2013.

Steve was born in Springfield, Minnesota on October 16, 1951 to parents Victor and Lois Gentz.

He is preceded in death by mother Lois Gentz. He is survived by son Andrew (Kayla Henkes) Gentz and daughter Jennie Gentz; grandchildren Keagan, Jasmine, Ava, and Madison; brother Larry (Catherine) Gentz; sisters Kay (Chuck) Padilla, Mary (Craig) Lindeman, Vicki (Lance) Bolton; father Victor Gentz.

Steve served in Guam during the Vietnam War as a Sergeant (E5) with the Marine Corps. He was also an Eagle Scout and enjoyed fishing, boating, riding motorcycle, cooking, and entertaining family and friends.

Funeral Services were held Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lindstrom. Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Arrangements by Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom. Condolences may be left at www.grandstrand fh.com
