Harriet W. Puntila

Harriet W. Puntila, of Chisago City, died Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Fairview Lakes Medical Center, at the age of 91 years young.

Harriet was born July 3, 1921 in Duluth to Walfora and Elsie Heikkinen. She graduated from Barnum High School. She was a home maker and did some waitressing throughout her life. In 1969, she married Milton Puntila in Moose Lake.

In her free time, she enjoyed gaming, bingo, quilting, and jewelry making. Harriet was preceded in death by her parents; husband Milt and son James. She is survived by sons Larry (Marquitta) Larsin of Danbury; Lance (Connie) Larsin of Chisago City; Joe ‘Lynard’ (Janet) Larsin of St. Paul; John (Dawn) Larsin of Shafer; Gary (Judith) Larsin of North St. Paul; Jeff (Cheryl Stunek) Larsin of Chisago City; 27 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
