Taylors Falls Elementary 4th grade science fair projects on display at government center

Chisago County announces its annual display of Taylors Falls 4th Grade award winning Science Fair Projects. Stop by the Chisago County Government Center (Center City) during regular business hours, through June 3, to see the Taylors Falls Elementary science fair projects chosen for this year’s Chisago County Department of Environmental Services Award.

Each year the Department awards certificates to the students who create the most environmental, conservation and scientific minded science projects at the local 4th grade science fairs. According to County Board Chairman Ben Montzka, “The County is excited to recognize these future leaders for their exceptionally had work and effort in developing and presenting such instructive examples of how science helps us better understand our environment and the impacts our activities can have on it.” These Taylors Falls Elementary students will have their projects on display in the Government Center Lobby, at 313 North Main St. in Center City, during the last two weeks of May. 2013 Award Certificate Winners are:

• Isaac Moberg – “FOG”
• Eli Miers – “How Trash Is Recycled”
• Madi Campbell – “Fun With Sap”
• Kaden Erickson – “Does a Magnetic Field Affect the Germination Process?”
