Richard Winterhalter, age 75, of Lindstrom. He is survived by loving wife, Marie Sticha and three children: daughter, Lynn (Bob) Mattsen of Blaine and her daughters, Carolynn Vaneman, Janell Dubay-Thompson, Monica McKay; and Angela and three daughters; also son, James Winterhalter and son Carsen of Maple Plain: Daughter, Jan Winterhalter (Tom McGough) and son Nicholas of Shorewood; Stepson, Wayne Sticha, fiur step grandchildren Tim, Jeremy, Jesse, and Jenny; siblings: Harold (Marilyn) Winterhalter, Patty (Walter) Lathrop, Mary (Gene) Anderson, John (Judy) Winterhalter, Joan (Bob) Taschner.
He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Caroline, Joanne (infant sister) and brother, Robert. He was a long time resident of Long Lake, MN. He was a paratrooper in the army and longtime tool and die maker for Honeywell. Besides family, Richard’s passion was for his land near Finlayson, gardening and tractors. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Saturday, June 1 at St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church in Lindstrom.
Visitation 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom and one hour prior to Mass at church. Interment at St. George Catholic Cemetery in Long Lake, Minnesota.
