November 7 Lakes Area Police investigators were notified of a video being seen/made available at the Chisago Lakes High School potentially containing pornographic images of underaged students. The incident of alleged sexual activity was video-recorded in Taylors Falls. This is under active investigation.

November 6 there was an unexplained power outage on the west side of Chisago City into Wyoming. Police were overseeing traffic at the lights at Green Lake TRail and Hwy. 8 for safety. The outage was reported at 11 p.m. to police. Xcel could not be reached for follow-up.

Authorities are investigating a burglary at Big Game Bar on Hwy 8 in Shafer. The alarm was activated about 6:30 a.m. November 6. No details immediately available on the incident. Also in Shafer, Nov 6, a report of attempted theft of two vehicles at Auto Gardens. The truck and passenger car were damaged as gaining access to inside the steering columns were unsuccessful. Report came in about 12:30 that afternoon.

November 5 police went to an address on Norelius Drive in Lindstrom on complaints of a “big fire.” Prohibited materials were observed being burned.

November 4 there was a report from staff of a burglary at Fisk Tire in Chisago City. It appears cash is what’s missing.

A couple of bikes were impounded and are now stored by Lakes Area Police. If you have a missing bicycle contact the police department offices.
