The Birthday Box Project thanks Lakeside School for having a Birthday Box Drive Oct. 14-25. The student body collected 33 cake mixes, 26 frostings, 17 small toys, 6 cupcake liner packages, 38 homemade cards, 12 candle packs, 3 gift bags, 14 party hat, 1 party decoration, 8 table covers, 2 invitations, 12 sprinkles, and 1 pack of balloons. All of these items will go a long way to spreading Birthday smiles. The a group of kids from the Kids Club program and their teacher Christy helped wrap and fill 29 boxes. The girls did an amazing job wrapping, filling the boxes and sharing their ideas as to why we help others. It was a wonderful experience to be a part of. Thank you to all the parents that helped their child bring items in for the drive. You can still bring items to Lakeside and they will contact The Birthday Box Project coordinator for pickup.
