Lakes Area Police had a report of a fraudulent electronic PayPal account opened. The Chisago City complainant is working with investigators. A “slap cam” incident reported at Chisago Lakes High School. Authorities advised all parties involved that this is an assault and future incidents will be treated as such. A new video trend is to surprise-hit somebody, get their reaction on tape and upload it to the Internet.

Report of injuries to a vulnerable adult who had been receiving medical care away from the local residential facility and upon returning the caregiver noticed injuries. Chimney fire at a house on 410th in Sunrise, reported 8 p.m. March 26. Employee theft reported at store in Rush City. Surveillance camera evidence was being reviewed. I Pods stolen from Rush City High School student. March 27 a MNDOT plow truck and personal vehicle with a man and 15-month old boy inside, collided at St. Croix Trail and Mulberry in Taylors Falls. No serious injuries, but the disabled car created a hazard while deputies assisted state patrol in removing it.
