The Chisago Lakes Triathlon was once again a great success. This could never happen if we didn’t have so many wonderful volunteers stepping forward to help out. The athletes are always so appreciative of the cheers, encouragement and direction that the volunteers offer. And the chamber is so grateful to everyone, whether you helped with the Kid’s Tri, Registration, Finish Line, Bike or Run Corner, Water Station, Bike Support or Stuffing Goody Bags. This is terrific for our community and businesses, with many businesses sharing that they had a great weekend. With 1,200-1,500 people coming in for this event, they saw just how unique and wonderful the Chisago Lakes Area is.

Thank you to Chisago City for sharing Paradise Park. We also want to thank  Lakes Area Police Department, Chisago County Sheriffs Dept., Lakes Region EMS, Fairview Medical Center, Stacy Fire Dept, Almelund Fire Dept, Shafer Fire Dept, for all of your support and attention to detail.  Thank you to Northwood’s Roasterie, Deutschland Meats and Brinks Market for providing volunteer and athlete refreshments. Thank you to our local Chisago County Press for the great event coverage.
