Robert H. Lundberg, age 87, of North St. Paul, died on August 16, 2014.  Robert was born in Cloverdale, Minnesota on November 2, 1926 to Andrew and Alma Lundberg.  He moved from Cloverdale to Chisago County in 1928 graduating from Chisago Lakes High School in 1945.  He was an outstanding high school athlete, and excelled in football, basketball, and baseball.  He belonged to Chisago Lake Lutheran Church since 1940 and was confirmed in 1940.  Robert served in the U.S. Army Occupation of Japan from 1946-1948 during World War II.  He married Evelyn Lick in 1968 and lived in North St. Paul for 46 years.  He retired after 31 years from the U. S. Postal Service.  Robert was a member of NARF and APWU.  

He is preceded in death by wife Evelyn; parents Andrew and Alma Lundberg; brothers Vernon Lundberg and John Lundberg.  Survived by sister Vivian Koford; step-daughter Cheryl Lick; beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews, and other relatives.  

Memorial Service 11a.m. Friday, August 22, 2014 at Chisago Lake Lutheran Church, in Center City.  Visitation one hour prior to service at church.  Interment at Hillside Cemetery in Center City.  Arrangements by the Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom.  Condolences may be left online at www.grandstrandfh.com.
