The Lindstrom Park Board would like to say a big THANK YOU to Boy Scout Eli Klatt from Troop 159 for choosing Morning Sun Park as his Eagle Scout Project. For his project he installed drain tile, a drainage field, and replaced the woodchips in Morning Sun Park. This was a much needed improvement to the park as it has had standing water problems. With the record rainy weather in June, which really caused some additional challenges and delays, we have to say an extra thanks for all the hard work! We appreciate all that was done to fix the park and make it useable for all!
The Park Board would also like to thank all Eli’s troop members/volunteers who helped him, they logged an impressive 295 hours between them. We would also like to thank Lindstrom’s Public Works, especially Bill Straub, for all his help and guidance during the project, we are lucky to have him in the city! And last but not least we would like to thank the Morning Sun neighbors for their patience and understanding throughout the project.
Thanks again Eli, we are grateful you chose Morning Sun as your Eagle Scout Project and again, we appreciate all that you and your helpers did!
