Beverley was born December 28, 1926 at Tainter, Wisconsin to parents, Charles and Mable (Harshman) Batchelder. She attended schools in Colfax and graduated with the class of 1944. Beverley attended St. Barnabas Hospital School of Nursing in Minneapolis and graduated in 1947. She worked as a nurse at the Minneapolis General Hospital until her youngest son was born in 1960. Beverley maintained her nurse’s license until 1988. She met Richard Springer and they were married on November 29, 1946. They enjoyed 66 years together. She was passionate about reading and learning new things, caring for others and spending time with her family, sisters, many nieces, nephews and friends.
She will be remembered as a very dignified women who never had a bad word to say about anyone.
Beverley is survived by her two sons, Greg (Linda) Springer of Calabasas, CA and Grant (Pam) Springer of North Branch; sisters, Cora (Lowell) Matilla of Rogers and Julia (John) Ryan of Durand, WI as well as several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard on April 16, 2013, and several siblings.

Memorial services at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at the Ecumen North Branch Chapel in North Branch with Chaplain Todd Carlson officiating. Music by Phyllis Keating and Jon Ekstrom. Private family interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, in Minneapolis.
