Icy Ann was born in Coon Rapids, MN, on April 13, 1930, to Mary Leola and John Edgar Walburn. She graduated from St. Francis High School in 1948. On Februay 16, 1961 she married Allen ‘Bud’ Kask in Stacy. She worked at Plastic Products for 13 years. In her free time she enjoyed sewing, needlework, gardening, canning, watching the MN Twins, bird watching, solving crosswords and jumbles, and especially her family.
Icy Ann was preceded in death by her parents John Edgar and Mary Leola Walburn (Pendell); sons David and Richard; sisters Thelma, Irma, Ruby and Ruth and brothers Willard and Donald.
She is survived by her husband, Allen "Bud", children, James Richter, Michael (Louise) Richter, Daniel Richter, Gerald (Charlene) Richter, Susan (Bill) Myrick, Lisa (Mike) Hughes and John Kask; and daughers-in-law Denise Richter and Joan (Tom) Molitor; 20 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, one great great grandson and also by her sister, Cora Belle (Howard) Crane.
There will be a visitation from 4 to 7 PM Thursday Feb. 27 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom. Funeral services at 11 AM Friday at Frist United Methodist Church in Lindstrom. Private interment will be in the Methodist Cemetery in Center City. See www.grandstrandfh.com
